Step-by-step guide

How to make a bby wow video — two ways.

The bby wow video (you’ll also see it called the bby wow guy or baby wow guy trend) is a nine-second party clip: someone dances up to the camera, takes a slow bite of a concha, stares dead into the lens while chewing, and dances away. There are two ways to make your own: film it yourself, or let AI put you into the original clip from a single photo.

Left: the original clip. Right: an AI version made from one photo of a (fictional) woman.

Way 1: film the bby wow video yourself

If you have a friend, a phone and twenty minutes of nerve, you can recreate it for real. What matters is the timing — the joke is in the beats.

  1. Set the scene. A party, a living room with colored lights, or a green screen you can key a party background into later (CapCut and TikTok’s own green screen effect both work).
  2. Frame it like a guest’s phone. Your friend sits at “table height” and films vertical, slightly from below. Hand-held, not on a tripod — the little shake sells it.
  3. 0–2 s, the walk-in. Dance straight toward the camera with loose, confident moves. Hold a small piece of concha in your fingertips.
  4. 2–4 s, the bite. Right in front of the lens, one slow, deliberate bite.
  5. 4–7 s, the stare. Keep chewing, completely deadpan, eyes locked on the lens. Hold it slightly longer than feels comfortable — that’s the joke.
  6. 7–9 s, the exit. Turn and dance back into the party like nothing happened.
  7. Add the sound in TikTok. Search the trending bby wow sound in TikTok’s sound library and line the bite up with the beat drop.

The hard parts are the deadpan (most people laugh) and the camera move — the original drifts in close for the stare. Expect a few takes. Our bby wow meme template breaks every beat down if you want the exact timing.

Way 2: make a bby wow video with AI from one photo

If you don’t want to film (or you want your dog to do it), Bby Wow AI re-renders the original party clip with you as the lead: same room, same dancing crowd, same camera, same four beats, original sound. Only the person changes.

  1. Pick a photo. One clear, front-facing, full-body photo, hands empty, one person or pet. Plain backgrounds work best.
  2. Upload it and choose a format. Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or landscape 16:9 like the original. We check the photo right away (no celebrities, kids or group shots), so you know before paying.
  3. Pay once. $4.99 for one video or $9.90 for three. No account. Your card is only charged when the video is ready — if it fails, the hold is released.
  4. Download and post. In about 5 minutes you get an email and a private page with the MP4. The original sound is already in it.

Which way should you choose?

Film it if you love performing and have someone to film you — your own real clip will always feel personal. Use AI if you want it done today, want the original party and crowd around you, or want to see your grandma, your best friend or your cat do the stare. Plenty of people do both.

Tips for a funnier bby wow video

  • The stare carries the joke — a neutral, unimpressed face beats a smile.
  • Unexpected stars win: grandparents, bosses (with permission), pets.
  • Keep the caption short and let the bite land on the beat.
  • Turn on TikTok’s AI-generated content label if you post an AI version.
